Join me for a unique opportunity to elevate your EMDR practice by integrating the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model. This three-day in-person workshop marks my first return to in-person training since 2020 and is one of only a few opportunities worldwide to experience an in-person EMDR+IFS workshop. The workshop will coincide with the release of my upcoming book, which serves as the basis for the training. This event is open to UK delegates and clinicians from around the world.

Model Overview:

The Integrated EMDR and IFS Model is a groundbreaking approach that merges the structured, brain-based precision of EMDR with the compassionate, nuanced parts work of Internal Family Systems (IFS). This model is designed to reach clients whose protective parts are deeply entrenched, often making traditional methods less effective. This integrated approach facilitates comprehensive and profound healing by honoring and working with these protective parts while addressing the mind's deepest wounds. The Integrated EMDR and IFS Model makes trauma therapy more accessible and effective for survivors of complex trauma, offering a powerful pathway to transformative healing.

What You Will Learn:

• Integrating EMDR and IFS: Learn how to combine EMDR phases with IFS parts work for enhanced trauma healing

• Identifying and Working with Parts: Recognize and differentiate between protectors, exiles, and Self within the client’s internal system.

• Parts-Mapping and History-Taking: Incorporate IFS concepts into EMDR history-taking for a comprehensive treatment plan.

• IFS Preparation Techniques: IFS builds safety and connects clients to Self-energy before EMDR reprocessing.

• Integrating Phases 3-8: Apply IFS in each EMDR phase, focusing on protector management and unburdening exiles.

• Overcoming Processing Blocks: Address and resolve blocks in EMDR using IFS strategies for smoother reprocessing.

• Legacy and Cultural Burdens: Identify and unburden intergenerational and cultural burdens within the EMDR IFS framework.

• Practical Applications: Boost your confidence with case studies and practical examples of EMDR and IFS integration.

• Practice the Skills: Participate in supervised practicums led by EMDR and IFS-trained therapists.

Accreditation:

• This event has been awarded 18 EMDR UK CPD points

• Provides 16 EMDRIA credits (EMDR International Association for the US and Canada).

• Participants will also earn 18 NBCC credits for US-licensed counselors.

• Applicants from the UK must have completed at least Part 1 of EMDR Europe Standard Accredited Training
