Will you be coming back to London or the UK for future courses?
Yes, I plan to return to the UK in the future! I hope to return in the Fall of 2025. EMDR UK has approved my May 2025 course, and they have informed me that before approving any future courses, they would like to review participant feedback forms to ensure that I deliver high-quality content to their delegates.
I am confident that the feedback will be positive, as I have worked hard to ensure my material is accessible and highly relevant to counselors. However, I must wait for EMDR UK’s formal approval for the second course, which may not be finalized until Summer 2025. Once that approval is in place, I can confirm the dates and location for my next UK course.
I’m hoping to return in November 2025, and I’m considering hosting the course in either London or York, with the possibility of exploring other locations.

Who should participate in The Integrated EMDR and IFS Model courses?
Therapists must complete an EMDRIA-approved EMDR Basic Training and have a foundational understanding of the EMDR and IFS Models. For those newer to IFS, I provide a free 90-minute overview training on demand that provides the foundational knowledge needed to complete the Integration Model course. That on-demand course is linked here.
For therapists who feel they need an EMDR Refresher, I offer a 2.5-hour refresher for $59, which comes with 2.5 EMDRIA and NBCC CEs. That on-demand course is linked here.
Can I skip Level 1 and go straight to Level 2 if I’ve already completed an IFS Institute Level 1 training?
If you've already completed IFS Level 1, you may feel that the Integrated EMDR and IFS Model Level 1 course covers material you're already familiar with. However, the Level 1 integration course is designed to bridge the gap between EMDR and IFS and introduce how these two modalities work together. It includes detailed instruction on combining both models in trauma treatment, which may be new or more in-depth than what you've learned in IFS Level 1.
While Level 2 will offer more advanced concepts and applications, Level 1 lays the necessary foundation for understanding the integration of EMDR and IFS, ensuring you're fully prepared to apply both approaches in a unified way.
If you're already quite experienced with many basic IFS concepts, we recommend the on-demand Level 1 course. With this option, you can fast-track to the integration components and skip over the material you already know. While Day 1 of the live course does refresh some basic IFS concepts, the on-demand version allows you to control the pacing and only review the IFS-specific material if you’d like a refresher.
Foundations Masterclass FAQs
Who is eligible to sign up for IFS Foundations?
The IFS Foundations Masterclass is designed for licensed therapists, life coaches, and bodyworkers who are eager to learn Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy but face barriers to participating in traditional IFS Level 1 training due to significant time commitments, high costs, or the competitive nature of the IFS Institute's lottery and waitlist system.
Do I need any IFS training before enrolling in this course?
No, this course is designed for therapists with little IFS education or exposure.
What if I can’t attend a live session?
If you cannot attend one of the live demo + Q&A sessions, don’t worry! These sessions will be recorded and made available for you to watch at your convenience. While the practicum meetings will not be recorded, you can still earn CE credit for all the on-demand content you engage with. If you miss a practicum, you won't receive CE credit for that session, but you can still benefit from all other course materials.
What is the schedule and time zone?
The schedule for each cohort of the IFS Foundations Masterclass is outlined in great detail on the course webpage. You can visit the webpage and scroll down to find the specific cohort you're interested in. Click on your cohort to view the detailed schedule, including dates and times for live sessions.
I am based in San Diego, California; all times are listed in Pacific Time (PT).
Can I access the course content after the cohort ends?
Yes, all course materials, including recorded sessions and handouts, will remain accessible for 60 days after the cohort ends. You can revisit the content at your convenience to reinforce your learning.
Is there a waitlist for sold-out cohorts?
Yes, if a cohort is sold out, you can join the waitlist by completing the form on the IFS Foundations Masterclass page. If a spot becomes available, we will reach out to you directly.
How will I know when registration will open for the next cohort of Foundations?
Please sign up for the mailing list at the bottom of this page. An email will be sent when new cohort dates are announced.
How does this course compare to an IFS Institute level 1 training?
This course is designed to provide a foundational IFS education to bridge the gap for those who cannot participate in an IFS Institute level 1 training due to the time commitment, cost, or waitlist. Its content is similar to that of an IFS Institute Level 1 course.
Can I refer to myself as IFS Trained after completing this course?
The term IFS Trained is only granted by the IFS Institute after the completion of a level 1 training. Participants in this program often refer to themselves as IFS-informed or as integrating “parts work” into their clinical practice.
What is your refund policy?
The course must be paid in full to reserve your seat. Full refunds are issued in full if notice is provided at least 2 weeks before the cohort's start date. Anything after that time is non-refundable.
