About EMDR + IFS PARTS Protocol

The EMDR PARTS protocol overlays the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model onto the standard EMDR protocol allowing for a more permission-focused approach to trauma treatment. EMDR remains the foundational structure upon which we heal the trauma, and the IFS model is the creative, permissive, and curiosity-driven process of that healing. The PARTS protocol is permission-focused, relies on attunement, and has a systemic approach to healing trauma. Completion of EMDR Basic Training is required, but clinicians need not be trained in IFS to benefit from this model.
